Lionel Messi’s mega £94m PSG contract ‘leaked’ with £12.8m-a-year loyalty bonus and a huge cryptocurrency stake

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN superstar Lionel Messi will reportedly earn a staggering £94million in wages throughout his three-year contract.

The details of the eye-watering deal were leaked by L’Equipe, who claim Messi will earn as much as Neymar and more than Kylian Mbappe.

If the star forward honours the agreement then it’s been said he will receive a net salary of €110m (£94m) over the next three seasons.

The six-time Ballon d’Or winner will earn £25.6m this season and £34.1m over the following two campaigns before his contract runs out in 2024.

The Argentina international’s earnings are similar to what he would have received at Barcelona if he stayed.

The 34-year-old is expected to receive a loyalty bonus of up to £12.8m per year.

The Argentine great joined PSG during a busy summer transfer window that also saw the likes of Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes moving to Paris.

Messi is set to surpass Neymar on the wage bill as the Brazil international’s earnings are expected to drop over the coming seasons before the end of his contract in 2025.

Mbappe is reportedly on a salary worth £21.4m but turned down a new and improved deal with the Parisians.

Thus, the star striker, whose contract runs out next year, will be free to speak to overseas clubs come January with Real Madrid posing as favourites to sign him.

Messi is reportedly earning £1,000,000-a-week at PSG

PSG sporting director Leonardo, though, has denied those reports, which he described as “completely false”.

He told RMC: “We can not accept the [earnings] being published on the front page of a newspaper like L’Equipe.

“It is unacceptable. It is completely false. I think it shows disrespect and we did not like it.”

Messi is looking to rent a Paris castle called the Pink Palace worth £41m
