THE Community Shield was settled by a Manchester City golden boy – it just wasn’t the one the current generation of Citizens fans had hoped for. Kelechi Iheanacho – once the darling of the Etihad – stole Jack Grealish’s thunder as Britain’s first £100million signing ended up on the losing side at Wembley on his debut.

At Wembley with a trophy, it’s almost as if Leicester City had never been away.
Here in May when they defeated Chelsea by a single goal in the FA Cup final, they repeated the trick this evening by beating Manchester City 1-0 thanks to an 89th minute penalty from substitute Kelechi Iheanacho.
Captain Kasper Schmeichel has just been presented with the Community Shield, and he, his teammates, and the thousands of Leicester fans present are loving every moment.

Paul Tierney bides his time as he arrives on the scene, and then points to the spot, prompting huge roars from the Leicester fans behind that goal.
