JUVENTUS are reportedly looking to sell Aaron Ramsey this summer in order to fund a move for Arsenal target Houssem Aouar.
Calcio Mercato claims Andrea Pirlo hopes to raise over £42million by offloading Ramsey and fellow midfielder Adrien Rabiot, with the pair arriving on free transfers less than two years ago.
Juve look set to lose their grip on the Serie A title to Inter Milan.
And it’s believed the club are ready to move on dead weight in order to sign some top-quality players who can help them dominate again.
Two of those up for sale are Ramsey and Rabiot, with neither impressing during their two seasons in Turin.
Ramsey, 30, joined from Arsenal on a free in 2019 and has scored six goals in 61 appearances.
Rabiot, 25, left PSG for Juve in the same summer, also costing nothing, and has four goals in 72 outings.
But both men are surplus to requirements after Pirlo identified Lyon playmaker Aouar as the man to rejuvenate his midfield.
The No10 whiz, 22, has 30 goals in 163 games for Lyon and was strongly linked with Arsenal last year before they signed Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.
Lyon are aware of Arsenal’s continued interest in their star man and will demand a pretty penny.

By selling Ramsey and Rabiot, Juve hope to bank around £42m which they can put into their transfer kitty and jump to the front of the queue.
Pirlo also hopes to take advantage of Lyon’s interest in full-back Mattia De Sciglio, who has been on loan from Juve with the French club this term.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if there are any takers for Rabiot, with Everton and even Man City linked.
But there is believed to be firm interest in Ramsey from numerous sides, including Premier League giants Liverpool and Spurs.
One shock destination could be French side Marseille, who are ready to back new boss Jorge Sampaoli in the transfer market after he replaced Andre Villas-Boas this year.
Juventus are said to prefer negotiating with Marseille as they currently have Arkadiusz Milik on loan from Napoli.
The Polish striker joined for 18 months in January with an obligation to buy.
And Juventus could insist on Milik being part of the deal to send Ramsey to the French coast.
