Injuries and suspensions ahead of Dream Team Game Week 24

Dream Team brings you all the latest injury news and suspension updates from the Premier League to help managers navigate their way through Game Week 24.

Roy Hodgson gave an encouraging update on Wilfried Zaha, suggesting the Ivorian may be contention to return to Crystal Palace’s line-up.

The Eagles have struggled without their star player who seems to come through a week of training in good shape.

Nathan Ake is fit again after a lengthy layoff but it will be very difficult for him to break into Man City’s rampant side.

Ruben Dias, John Stones and Aymeric Laporte are all ahead of the Dutchman in Pep Guardiola’s pecking order.

David De Gea is set to miss the Manchester derby and possibly more games

Dean Smith said Jack Grealish is ‘unlikely’ to play a part as Aston Villa take on Wolves this weekend.

The 25-year-old is one of the most-popular midfielders in Dream Team and tens of thousands of gaffers will be hoping this weekend is the last he sits out.

James Maddison won’t need surgery to correct his hip issue but, worryingly, Brendan Rodgers says there is ‘no timeline’ on his return.

The playmaker won’t be rushed back despite Leicester’s mounting injury concerns.

Man United confirmed that David De Gea has been given permission to fly to Spain to be present for the birth of his child.

The experienced goalkeeper will have to isolate upon his return to the UK as per government rules but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he would be available for selection ‘very soon’.

Rodrigo featured for Leeds’ Under-23s today which may mean he is available to play some part at West Ham on Monday night.

The ex-Valencia forward is unlikely to start at the London Stadium but will be pushing for a place in Marcelo Bielsa’s XI against Chelsea the following week.

Steve Bruce does not expect Allan Saint-Maximin or Miguel Almiron to return to action before the international break.

Newcastle will have to continue without their three best attacking players with Callum Wilson still a few weeks away from recovery.
