GERMANY boss Joachim Low has given England hope of winning Euro 2020.
The German knows a thing or two about winning major international tournaments and was quick to remind fans fast starters don’t always claim glory.
The Three Lions started with a 1-0 win over Croatia.
But their campaign stuttered somewhat as they stumbled to a 0-0 draw against Scotland on Friday.
However, Gareth Southgate’s men remain unbeaten which is more than departing Low can say.
Low – who won the 2014 World Cup – saw his side lose 1-0 to France in their Euro 2020 Group F opener.
But they came from behind to beat Portugal 4-2 on Saturday night to claim their first points of the campaign.
Despite their shaky start, Low remained calm and issued a message that will buoy any downbeat England fans.
The 61-year-old said: “There are plenty of strong sides in this tournament.
“But the teams who have everything running perfectly in the first two games are rarely the ones who end up winning the tournament.”
