CRISTIANO RONALDO’S girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has described him as a ‘legend’ and ‘inspiration’ after Juventus’ Super Cup triumph.
Ronaldo scored the Serie A champions’ first goal of the game in their 2-0 win over Napoli, a strike which saw him reach 760 career goals for club and country.
And his partner Rodriguez heaped praise on her boyfriend after the match, taking to social media to congratulate him.
Alongside photos of Ronaldo holding the Super Cup, she said: “‘Where unity is, there is victory.’
“You are one of the best athletes in history, you are already a LEGEND, and my source of inspiration.
“Thank you my love for so much. Congratulations on another title in your professional career !!!
“It is a pride and my greatest happiness to accompany you by the hand on the path of LIFE.”
Ronaldo’s Super Cup victory with Juventus means he is the ninth most decorated player of all-time but is still behind the likes of Lionel Messi and Dani Alves.
He is the top scorer in Italy’s top flight so far this season with 15 goals, three more than any other player.

Despite Juventus’ glory in the Super Cup, they are in serious danger of failing to secure a tenth successive Serie A title.
Last weekend, Andrea Pirlo’s side were beaten 2-0 by Inter Milan and now sit ten points off the top of the table in fifth place.
AC Milan are top of Serie A as they look to secure a first league title since 2011, with city rivals Inter three points back in second.
