GARETH BALE and Dele Alli must do more to prove their worth to Tottenham, according to Gary Neville.
The former Manchester United right-back reckons the onus is on the outcast pair to prove their worth to the club as it’s not just Jose Mourinho who is to blame for their recent lack of game time.

That is according to Sky pundit Gary Neville
Bale, 31, has managed just seven Premier League appearances this season since his loan from Real Madrid.
And Alli, 24, has played just five times in the league and was close too joining Paris Saint-Germain on loan in January.
Mourinho has urged both players to do more – either in public or in private.
And Neville agrees with the former Chelsea and Man Utd boss and said it’s down to the players to get themselves back in the team.
Neville said of Mourinho on Sky Sports: “It’s that moment that’s coming in his Tottenham career whereby this next four of five weeks will determine whether it’s that [his career tails off] or whether actually he can change.
“Is he going to bring Dele Alli and Bale around?
“I’m not saying he has to pander to these players because to be honest with you, Bale has annoyed me all season just watching him smile on the bench.
“And Alli to be fair, I worked with him with England, I think he’s a brilliant talent but he should be doing a lot more.

“I want a lot more from him, he’s an outstanding player, come on.
“Deliver on a great career. There’s a reason why his career is doing what it’s doing at the moment, it’s not just Mourinho. Dele’s got to get hold of it himself.”
Mourinho recently hit out at Bale for a ‘totally wrong’ Instagram post ahead of their FA Cup defeat at Everton.
