A HUGE BRAWL between Crystal Palace and Tottenham unfolded during the London derby at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.
Tensions boiled over when Spurs ace Japhet Tanganga produced a strong challenge on Palace star Wilfried Zaha in the 52nd minute.
Zaha, 28, was clattered by Tanganga, 22, after the winger knocked the ball beyond the defender and tried to run into the space.
The Spurs man made no attempt to play the ball and clattered into his opposite number, infuriating the home fans and Zaha.
The Palace icon was clearly aggrieved by the poor challenge as he quickly got back to his feet and starting pushing Tanganga.
The defender didn’t back down and the two grabbed hold of each other before both sets of players ran over to separate the scrap.
Zaha and Tanganga were both booked for the brawl but the latter was sent off just moments later for another late challenge, this time on Jordan Ayew.
And Zaha made him pay by converting a penalty before a late brace from Odsonne Edouard competed a handsome 3-0 victory for Palace.

Nuno Espirito Santo needed Tanganga to deliver against Palace as the Spurs boss was without centre-backs Davinson Sanchez and Cristian Romero.
Sanchez and Romero are currently in quarantine after playing for Colombia and Argentina respectively during the international break.
Tanganga has made 15 Premier League appearances for Spurs during his career and is an England U21 international.
But he will now miss the team’s next Prem game against Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, September 19.
Speaking about his battle with Tanganga after the match, Zaha said: “I’ve seen him play before. He’s strong and fast. But I enjoy battles.”
