Fernando Torres shows off hench new physique as ex-Chelsea and Liverpool star undergoes incredible body transformation

FERNANDO TORRES has put his El Nino nickname to shame by bulking up considerably since ending his playing career.

Now the Atletico Madrid B boss, the 36-year-old is looking far more hench than he ever did on the pitch.

Fans were wowed by the former striker bursting out of his shirt

A lean striker for Atletico, Liverpool and Chelsea in his prime, the 6ft 1in Spaniard was never known for his strength.

In the latter stages of his career, Torres became less of a clinical finisher and began to rely on his attacking nous and physicality.

After a stint in Japan with Sagan Tosu ended in 2019, he hung up his boots.

Torres began a coaching role with Atletico’s B team in August of last year before becoming their manager this week.

Returning to the LaLiga leaders could mean the former forward has fixed his once-wrecked relationship with first-team coach Diego Simeone.

And, in a recent Instagram post announcing a link-up with a Southeast Asian casino website, he showed off his new hulking physique.

In a tight-fitting blue polo shirt, Torres wowed fans who quickly noticed his recent exploits in the gym.

An Instagram follower posted: “The gym is getting out of hand, bro.”

Another remarked: “Your polo almost doesn’t fit 🤣💪.”

And one commenter asked: “Is it just me or is Torres looking a little buff, he’s been packing on the old muscle!”
