FORMER Chelsea star Filipe Luis has revealed how Jose Mourinho left him feeling ‘betrayed’ during his time at Stamford Bridge.
The 35-year-old signed for the Blues under the Special One in 2014 from Atletico Madrid but returned to the Spanish giants after just 12 months in London.

His two old clubs are set to collide in the Champions League on Tuesday, which has provided the Brazilian left-back with an ideal opportunity to reflect on his time in England.
But despite enjoying a great relationship with then captain John Terry, the now Flamengo star told the Daily Mail his feelings towards Mourinho were not always as pleasant.
The problems began straight after his arrival when he was left out in favour of Cesar Azpilicueta.
Luis said: “When I was on the bench for the first game of the season I knocked on Mourinho’s office door and said: ‘Why did you bring me here? Why didn’t you just leave me at Atletico?’
“He said that he didn’t feel as secure defensively with me in the team as he did with Azpilicueta.”
Despite admitting the boss was right, he suffered further frustration later that season.
He was axed for the League Cup Final after playing in every round previous – leading to his departure.
Luis revealed: “At the time I felt betrayed for want of a better word. I did not want to work for Mourinho for another year. But it was not his fault. We won the final and I have the medal at home!”

It was not only him who suffered frustration under Mourinho.
He recalled how the Portuguese would send assistant Rui Faria to speak with him and Mo Salah as they both struggled for match action.
Luis said: “In training Mohamed Salah was like Messi. It’s a pity not to have played with him more.”
The veteran, who hilariously revealed Eden Hazard would be playing Mario Kart right up until five minutes before kick-off, also explained that his relationship with skipper Terry was brilliant.
And he described him as: “A real leader who did the hard talking when it had to be done and was first to hold his hand up in defeat.”
And looking ahead to the upcoming clash between his two former employers, he admitted he is only rooting for one of them.
The 2019 Copa America winner, who twice suffered defeat in the Champions League final with Atletico, said: “Yeah, I’m supporting Atletico. It’s still my dream to see them win the Champions League.”
