MAURIZIO SARRI has reportedly rejected the chance to become Fiorentina’s new manager.
FootballItalia claims the former Chelsea boss, 62, has snubbed the opportunity to take charge of the floundering Tuscans amid links with Napoli and Roma.
Sarri, who has been out of work since being axed by Juventus last year, is eager to return to football this summer.
The tactician has already rejected approaches from Marseille and Fenerbahce as he does not want to take charge of a new club mid-season.
However, Fiorentina were offering Sarri the chance to start working with them this summer.
Cesare Prandelli resigned last month with the club struggling in 15th place, just eight points from Serie A safety.
And former Fiorentina boss Giuseppe Iachini was rehired to take charge for the rest of the campaign.
But Sarri has turned them down as he waits for approaches from bigger sides.
Old side Napoli are said to be keen, with Gennaro Gattuso expected to be axed after a disappointing season.
All is said to be forgiven after Sarri led fierce rivals Juventus to the Serie A title last term.

And he has already been tipped to re-sign Jorginho from Chelsea should he get the San Paolo gig.
Meanwhile, Europa League quarter-finalists Roma have also been linked due to reported poor relationships between the players and boss Paulo Fonseca.
Sarri, who won the competition with Chelsea two years ago, would also welcome work in the Italian capital.
