EVERTON boss Carlo Ancelotti has made £6.75million-rated Freiburg defender Keven Schlotterbeck a surprise summer transfer target, according to reports.
The Toffees already have Mason Holgate, Ben Godfrey, Yerry Mina and Michael Keane on the books.

But Ancelotti appears keen to bolster his defensive ranks with a move for 23-year-old Schlotterbeck.
BILD’s head of football, Christian Falk, confirmed the news on Twitter.
Falk wrote: “TRUE. @Everton is interested in Keven Schlotterbeck (23), centre back @scfreiburg”.
Schlotterbeck only made his Freiburg debut in 2019 having originally joined their second team in 2017.
Prior to that the centre-back played for SIXTH-TIER side TSG Backnang 1919.
Schlotterbeck made nine Bundesliga appearances in second-half of the 2018-19 season having made his debut in February.
And he spent last season on loan at Union Berlin, playing 23 times in the Bundesliga.
Schlotterbeck impressed so much Freiburg opted to keep him on their books for the current season.

The defender has played 13 times this season, with the club winning just ONE of the seven games in which he has been absent, such is his growing importance to the squad.
And his hot form hasn’t gone unnoticed, with Everton keen to take a chance on him this summer.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti suffered a blow during the thrilling 5-4 FA Cup win over Tottenham after Dominic Calvert-Lewin tweaked his hamstring.
Calvert-Lewin, who missed three weeks of action in January with a hamstring problem, is yet to be assessed but is a doubt for Sunday’s Premier League game with Fulham.
