The record-breaking Juventus superstar spotted his old pal as he relaxed on the sidelines at Portugal’s training camp after Wednesday’s gruelling 2-2 draw with France in Budapest.
Pepe, 38, was blissfully unaware, but luckily cameras caught Ronaldo as he tip-toed towards the his former Real Madrid team-mate with a cheesy grin on his face… and poured water straight over his head.
Pepe then reeled in shock as Ronaldo ran away giggling.
Portugal’s official Instagram page captioned the clip: “Extreme heat? The captain is here to help.”
it’s no wonder Ronaldo and Pepe were all smiles after helping Portugal qualify from the Euros’ ‘Group of Death’.

It was a momentous occasion for Ronaldo as his double helped him join Ali Daei as the joint highest scorer in international football, with a ludicrous 109 goals – five of them coming in only three games in this tournament.
And the pair will need their game faces on once again by Sunday night as they face top ranked Belgium in the second round.
