Croatia 1-1 Armenia LIVE RESULT: Perisic header not enough as England’s Euro 2020 opponents fail to shine

CROATIA have failed to inspire after being held to a draw by Armenia in a Euro 2020 warm-up.

Ivan Perisic headed England’s Euro 2020 opponents ahead in a low key first half in Velika Gorica.

But Luka Modric was substituted at half time and since then the Croats were unable to gain a grip on the game.

And a brilliant strike from Wbeymar Angulo ensured honours were even at the final whistle.

  • THAT’S ALL FOR TONIGHT!!

Croatia were held to a 1-1 draw by Armenia at Stadion Radnik.

Iavn Perisic gave the home side the lead in the first half after he headed in from a Luke Modric corner.

Armenia drew level after Wbeymar Angulo flashed a wonder strike past Dominik Livakovic in the 72nd minute.
