CRISTIANO RONALDO is preparing to open his new Madrid hotel – and his stunning girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has paid tribute to his hard work.
The Pestana CR7 Gran Via in the centre of the Spanish capital was scheduled to swing open its doors in June last year.
But the coronavirus pandemic saw those plans put on hold.
Now all systems are go with the 36-year-old Juventus star posting on Instagram a photo of the grand building, saying that they are on the ‘fional countdown to the soft opening’.
He added: “A fun way to enjoy Madrid’s movida with a 360 degrees rooftop, a Sports Bar and the best pizzas in town.
“Book now and be one of the first to live this experience. Can’t wait to see you there.”
And his determined efforts have been praised by his loyal partner Rodriguez.
Translated from Spanish, she posted on Instagram: “Congratulations @cristiano for the opening of this dream hotel, in the heart of Madrid.
“I am very excited about what you are building, with so much effort and courage.”
Then urging people to pay a visit, she added: “I invite you to discover this space that will excite you and make you dream.”

Ronaldo’s Madrid venture will be his third hotel under the Pestana brand, joining venues in Lisbon and the Juventus star’s home town of Funchal, Madeira.
The latest destination is set to boast 168 rooms, decorated to ‘recapture the best of Madrid’s golden era’.
Meanwhile, the Portuguese star continues to be linked with a move away from Juventus.
According to ESPN his team are ‘continuing to gauge interest from some of Europe’s top clubs’.
Former clubs Manchester United and Real Madrid, along with Paris Saint-Germain, have all been linked with the star striker.
