  • DIO-GO?

Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot is unsure over his future at the club.

The 22-year-old had a successful loan spell at Italian giants AC Milan, helping them finish second in the Serie A.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Dalot said: “I like to become more and more complete.

“The Italians love football, they always talk about it and being part of this culture has been a fantastic experience. And on the pitch, I feel I have improved a lot tactically.

“There are some defensive aspects I learned here and it was fantastic to develop these qualities too.

“That’s not the only thing either, as I improved in pressing high and recovering the ball as soon as possible.

“Very useful stuff. I say that I had a fantastic year and met beautiful people.

“It was a real pleasure to play for Milan but now I think about the Euros and I really don’t know (on his future) what will happen.”

  • EDDIE SET GO

Watford want to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah ahead of their Premier League return, according to reports.

The Gunners will reportedly demand £15million for the England youth international, who has a year left on his Emirates contract.

According to the Mirror, Arsenal are looking to cash in on Nketiah before his contract expires – and Watford are willing to make a bid.

  • SAUL SEARCHING

Atletico Madrid ace Saul Niguez is pushing for a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

That is according to the Daily Mirror, who claim that Saul is ready to bid farewell to Atleti.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a long time.

However, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also keeping tabs on the 26-year-old star

  • WILLI-END

Arsenal ace Willian is likely to leave the Gunners in the summer.

The playmaker failed to deliver at the Emirates ever since his move from Chelsea last year.

According to Sky Sports, the Brazil international is keen on a comeback at the Blues or a move to the MLS.

That could lead to a £15million profit for the north Londoners, who are looking to raise funds ahead of the transfer window

  • NATH-ING MORE

Stoke are waiting on Manchester United, Arsenal and Crystal Palace to swoop in for Nathan Collins.

Collins is reportedly targeted by Burnley but the Potters have placed a high asking price for the centre-back.

The 20-year-old made 27 appearances across all competitions throughout this campaign.

United are on the lookout for a defender but are focusing their attentions on the likes of Real Madrid star Raphael Varane and Villarreal ace Pau Torres

  • OLE LOT OF LUCK

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is “lucky” to still be the Red Devils’ manager, according to Arsenal hero Martin Keown.

Keown told talkSPORT: “They’ve had a succession of managers at the club but have not really been trusted and had a working relationship [with the club] and I do feel that with Ole.

“I do feel, when you look at it, he’s lucky to still be there really.

“He knows the standards that are being set and he can’t keep suffering disappointments, semi-final after semi-final, getting to finals.

“I do think he’s fortunate but this is the current day Manchester United”

  • STRIK-INGS OPTION

Chris Sutton claims Southampton ace Danny Ings may go to either Manchester United or Manchester City in the summer as a cheaper striking option.

Sutton told BBC Radio 5Live: “There’s talk about Danny Ings leaving.

“He could end up at Manchester City or Manchester United.

“There are all sorts of rumours flooding around the Norfolk area, but that’s what I have heard.

“And how could they [Southampton] possibly replace him?”

  • DE BRUYNE SPEAKS OUT

Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne suffered a heavy facial injury during the Champions League Final against Chelsea.

De Bruyne clashed with Blues star Antonio Rudiger after 60 minutes and hobbled off the pitch with a black eye.

The attacking midfielder was transferred to hospital and took to Twitter to announce that he’s been diagnosed with acute nose bone fracture and left orbital fracture.

The Belgium international tweeted the following:

  • DE BRUYNE LATEST

Manchester City star man Kevin De Bruyne may have to miss Belgium’s first Euro 2020 matches in the group stage.

De Bruyne was forced off the Champions League Final after a rough collision with Chelsea ace Antonio Rudiger on 60 minutes.

The playmaker was diagnosed with acute nose bone fracture and left orbital fracture.

According to ESPN, the 29-year-old will need three weeks to heal, which means he may not have any part in the group stage against Denmark, Finland and Russia.

However, there is no way De Bruyne is going to miss the whole tournament as long as Belgium make it out of the group stage

  • FOUR REAL

The Manchester United hierarchy are going to sanction four signings for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the summer.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Solskjaer will get financial backing in his bid to complete the transfer of Borussia Dortmund star winger Jadon Sancho and three other players.

United seem keen on buying a new centre-forward, despite Edinson Cavani’s new contract, and are targeting Sancho’s star team-mate Erling Haaland as well as Tottenham superstar Harry Kane.

The Red Devils are also looking for a defender to partner up with Harry Maguire at centre-back and are keeping tabs on Real Madrid ace Raphael Varane and Villarreal player Pau Torres

  • PERFECT TUCH

Chelsea’s Champions League celebrations continued backstage after winning the Champions League.

Blues manager Thomas Tuchel took it all in with a bottle of champagne he brought to the dressing room.

Tuchel popped the cork and sprayed all of his players who were on cloud nine after beating Manchester City 1-0 in Porto.

Check out the scenes from the west Londoners’ lock room:

  • HAALAND BLOW

Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland has confirmed that he remains “respectful” towards his contract.

Haaland has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, the star striker appears to be happy at Dortmund, especially after they sealed Champions League qualification.

Haaland told Viaplay: “Well, I have a contract for a couple of years so I am respectful towards my contract.

“Like I have said before, I’m a big fan of the Champions League and I think everybody knows that. It was a relief to secure that spot. It was really important.

“I am a simple guy. When I like something, I just want to have more. When I score a goal, I always chase the next goal.

“I have big dreams. I just won my first major trophy and it was a great feeling. So I want to win trophies”

  • STAYING RON

Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be leaving Juventus during the upcoming summer transfer window.

That is according to Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez who confirmed that the 36-year-old, who was linked with a return to Manchester United, will stay in Turin.

Rodriguez made that statement as she was filmed walking in the street in Spain.

She was asked: “Is Cristiano staying at Juventus or not?”

After a moment’s silence she turned to the camera filming her and replied: “He’s staying”

  • MAUR TO COME

Mauricio Pochettino is willing to return to Tottenham after extended talks with chairman Daniel Levy this week.

SunSport revealed on Tuesday that Levy was ready to ask Paris Saint-Germain boss Pochettino to take over as manager for a second time.

We also told you the Argentinean coach is prepared to leave PSG and head back to north London as he has been unhappy in Paris.

The 49-year-old, who was sacked by the club in 2019, also believes he has unfinished business at Tottenham

  • AGUER-GO

Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero is set to undergo his medical at Barcelona in the next few hours.

That is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Aguero has already signed a two-year contract with Barca.

The star striker’s former City team-mate Eric Garcia is set to join him at the Nou Camp.

Liverpool ace Georginio Wijnaldum will follow in the next few days

  • TUCH-ING BASE

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is going to sign a brand new deal with the club after winning the Champions League trophy.

Tuchel led the Blues to a 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the final and, according to The Guardian, he is set to extend his existing contract by another year at Stamford Bridge.

Romano tweeted: “Thomas Tuchel will meet Chelsea board in the next days to sign a new contract, confirmed. Just a matter of time.

“He’s already planning for new signings together with the club. Blue circle #CFC

The agreement will be completed until June 2023 + option for one more season.”

  • DE BRUYNE INJURY

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne suffered a heavy injury during the Champions League Final and had to be substituted.

De Bruyne collided with Chelsea ace Antonio Rudiger close to the hour-mark and limped off the pitch with an apparent head injury, which also gave him a black eye.

There is still no update on his condition but last night’s clash raises some significant questions regarding the attacking midfielder’s fitness ahead of Euro 2020.

Belgium boss Roberto Martinez will be counting a lot on the 29-year-old in the country’s bid to win the trophy in the summer

  • CITY SALE

Arsenal have found themselves on red alert as Manchester City seem set to sell Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez during the summer transfer window.

Sterling and Mahrez have both been very impressive during their tenure in City’s frontline.

According to the Daily Mail, however, the attacking duo has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Pep Guardiola.

Nevertheless, the Gunners’ financial limits combined with their failure to qualify for Europe would make it quite difficult to land the two wingers in the summer.

Both players struggled along with their team-mates in the Champions League final, which saw Chelsea being crowned two-time European champions

  • HAALAND DEMAND

Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland seems to have revealed his key demand to join another team.

Haaland recently won the German Cup with Dortmund, who beat RB Leipzig 4-1 thanks to a brace from the highly-rated centre-forward.

The Norway international has said he wants to win more trophies, something that should work as a takeaway for all his suitors.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with the 20-year-old.

Haaland said: “I am a simple guy. When I like something I just want to have more.

“Like I have said before, when I score a goal, I always chase the next goal. I just won my first major trophy and it was a great feeling, so I want to win trophies”

  • KING’S RANSOM

Manchester United have reportedly informed Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman they are ready to pay him £200,000 a week after tax.

Koman has two years left on his contract but is yet to agree terms over a new deal.

According to Bild, the 24-year-old winger earns £200k a week before tax but ‘would like to have it in net’.

United have apparently ‘indicated’ to the France international they are willing to meet his demands – and make him their joint fifth top earner

  • GOOD MORNING FOOTBALL FANS

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling suffered vile racist abuse online after the Champions League final.

The England forward was targeted on Instagram after his side lost 1-0 to Chelsea in Porto.

Sky Sports report that Sterling and team-mate Kyle Walker were both sent monkey emojis on social media.

Elsewhere in Porto, Chelsea hero Kai Havertz understandably struggled to contain his emotions after dropping the F-bomb twice on live TV, after grabbing the winner in the Champions League final.

Sparking wild celebrations at the full-time whistle, Havertz was quizzed by BT Sport who reminded him of the pressures of being Chelsea’s most expensive player ever.

But Havertz brilliantly responded: “To be honest, I couldn’t give a f* because we’ve just won the f**** Champions League.”

Chelsea also received a boost on the transfer front, along with Arsenal and Manchester United.

Sevilla’s Jules Kounde admits he might have to ‘change clubs’ to realise his potential in a major boost for Prem clubs.

Kounde received his first France call-up for this summer’s Euros, and he was grilled by reporters at the team’s Clairefontaine training camp about his future.

He said: “Regarding my future, it’s certain that I will perhaps have to change clubs this summer.

“But nothing has been finalised yet. I have not decided anything. My goal is to play for a big club, to try to always progress and to win trophies.”

  • RACE HATE

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling suffered vile racist abuse online after the Champions League final.

The England forward was targeted on Instagram after his side lost 1-0 to Chelsea in Porto.

Sky Sports report that Sterling and team-mate Kyle Walker were both sent monkey emojis on social media.

Sterling, 26, and Walker, 31, both started for Man City in the Champions League final on Saturday night.

But both were subjected to racist messages online after Chelsea’s win thanks to Kai Havertz’s goal.

It comes just days after England team-mate Marcus Rashford suffered racist abuse after a European loss.

Rashford received ‘at least 70’ racist messages online after Manchester United’s defeat by Villarreal in the Europa League final.

  • FLYING KAI

Chelsea hero Kai Havertz understandably struggled to contain his emotions after dropping the F-bomb twice on live TV.

The German superstar, the club’s record £71million signing, saved his crowning moment for the biggest stage of all after scoring the only goal in Chelsea’s famous 1-0 win over Manchester City.

The playmaker and defender Cesar Azpilicueta then burst into laughter as their achievements finally started to sink in.

  • CROWN JUL

Sevilla’s French prospect Jules Kounde admits he might have to ‘change clubs’ to realise his potential in a major boost for Prem clubs.

The 22-year-old defender has been trailed by Arsenal, as well as Manchester United and Chelsea.

He helped Sevilla win the Europa League after moving from Bordeaux in 2019 and his LaLiga form hasn’t gone unnoticed among the Premier League giants.

“My goal is to play for a big club, to try to always progress and to win trophies.”
