Ronaldo, 36, has found his future uncertain this summer following Juventus’ underwhelming campaign.

The forward fired 29 league goals as the Old Lady’s nine-year reign as Serie A champions came to an abrupt end.

Juventus are also just one of many clubs struggling financially following the coronavirus pandemic.

Ronaldo, who has a year left on his contract, is by far the club’s highest earner pocketing a whopping £540,000-a-week.

Juve would be open to letting him leave while Gazzetta claim the feeling is mutual with the player.

The reports adds that Paris Saint-Germain remains Ronaldo’s first choice but the French giants have yet to make an offer while they wait on Kylian Mbappe’s future.

It has given Manchester United the opportunity to make their move with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eager to land a winger.

Pogba, who left Juventus for United in a world-record £89million move, could head in the opposite direction although it remains unclear on the finances of the switch.

Solskjaer is likely to prioritise signing No1 transfer target Jadon Sancho.

SunSport exclusively revealed how United have agreed personal terms with the England winger worth £350,000-a-week over five years.
