Chelsea managed to see off mid-table Championship side Luton Town thanks to a hat-trick from academy product Tammy Abraham.

TAMMY ABRAHAM scored the hat-trick which finally eased Chelsea’s nerves and put them into the fifth round of the Cup.
But yet again Chelsea’s performance raised more questions than it answered for troubled boss Frank Lampard.
For the Premier League side wasted several chances to make this victory against a mid-table Championship side far less worrying than it needed to be.
And erratic Kepa Arrizabalaga’s now trademark blunder followed by a world-class save only fuelled the debate around their enigmatic reserve keeper.

Agreed. Despite the penalty miss, Werner had a decent game! He was always looking for the ball an running at opponents.

Chelsea continued to dominate the ball in the second half (67.5 per cent), limiting luton’s share of possession to 32.5 per cent.
The Blues also had 21 shots in total, with seven of those on target, scoring three goals.
And Luton had eight shots, three on target, with one goal.
Chelsea (left) were all over the pitch and clearly won the midfield battle today.
Luton (right) barely got inside Chelsea’s penalty area, they had just SEVEN touches inside the box.

Luton tried to fight their way back into the game, but Kepa stood tall to deny them.
Abraham would complete his hat-trick after some willing running from Hudson-Odoi to square the ball on a plate for him.
Werner failed to get on the scoresheet, missing from the penalty spot casting a shadow over what was a good performance from the German.
Luton can leave with their heads held high, they put in a good performance despite losing.
