The 32-year-old is the latest striker linked with the Blues as Thomas Tuchel searches for reinforcements.

Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku have been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge over recent weeks.
Harry Kane is also on the radar after the England striker told Tottenham he wants to move.
Now German news outlet Sky Sport claim Chelsea have made contact with the Poland international.
Lewandowski smashed the 40-goal barrier for Bayern Munich last week and finds himself in huge demand as he considers an exit from the Bundesliga.
Chelsea have struggled in front of goal this term with midfielder Jorginho being their top scorer in the Premier League, with all seven strikes coming from the penalty spot.
Tammy Abraham’s future remains uncertain after he was axed from the FA Cup Final squad and last summer’s big money arrivals Kai Havertz and Timo Werner have struggled to adapt to England.
However, today’s report claims Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia faces a major obstacle in the pursuit for Lewandowski.
The star is believed to favour a move to Spain over the Prem – and that could be good news for Barcelona.
The Catalans are also plotting a swoop for Lewandowski and it appears they are now in the driving seat for his signature.

Chelsea also face competition in the transfer chase from Paris Saint-Germain.
Mauricio Pochettino could be forced to offload Kylian Mbappe, and he views the ex-Dortmund ace as the perfect man to replace him.
Meanwhile, Tuchel has backed Werner to improve next season with or without any new signings at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues boss said: “You will not find one manager who will not add a 20-goal striker to his squad. I cannot have enough of them, if you can guarantee that.
“But this is what Chelsea bought, they bought Timo Werner and he is a 20/30-goal striker a year. Now he is struggling a little bit, for the first time in his career.
“I have known him since he was 17. He scored every year in youth football. When he was 16 he played under-18, when he was 17 he played under-19 and he never stopped scoring.
“In any transfer, there are risks of adaptations, change of country, change of mentality.
“It needs time. It’s not a puzzle where you identify one piece and you go out and find the exact piece, it’s more than that and that’s why there is no rush and no panic.”
