CHELSEA are in talks with Thiago Silva and Jorginho over contract extensions, according to reports.
The Blues pair both started Thomas Tuchel’s first match in charge at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

And it is thought they are both wanted by the German long term.
According to reporter Gianluigi Longari, Chelsea are trying to tie Jorginho down until 2025 and Silva until 2023.
Jorginho signed for Chelsea on a five-year deal in 2018, meaning his current contract expires in 2023.
He was adored by Maurizio Sarri but often overlooked by Frank Lampard – however, Tuchel’s love of a passing metronome in midfield could see the Italian’s Blues career reignited.
Silva, meanwhile, left Tuchel’s Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer last summer and was brought in by Chelsea on a one-year deal with the club having a 12-month extension option.
The veteran Brazilian defender turns 37 in September but has proven his class with a number of fine performances at the back this season.
As early as November, Chelsea were linked with triggering their extension clause.
There was a suggestion that Tuchel and Silva fell out at the end of last season, especially when the centre-back labelled his former boss’ sacking at PSG ‘predictable’.

However, both camps insist there is no problem and in fact Tuchel wanted the defender to stay at the Parc des Princes.
The ex-Dortmund chief said in August: “Thiago Silva was my captain, it was a pleasure to have a player of his quality and personality.
“Whatever the decision, he will always be my player. He is in my heart and it has been incredible this journey with him.”
Silva’s agent Paulo Tonietto added: “Tuchel always wanted to keep Thiago. [Sporting director] Leonardo was the one who didn’t want him.”
Silva and Jorginho are expected to retain their places in the starting XI against Burnley this weekend with Mason Mount in contention for a recall.
