New Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo praised his players for the way they fought back to draw with Chelsea in the pre-season Mind Series – although added that there is still much work to do.

Chelsea end the Mind Series unbeaten, but could still be pipped to top spot by Tottenham.
As well as the standard three points for a win, teams are also awarded a point for every goal scored so a Spurs win over Arsenal on Sunday in which they score three or more will see them take the title.

An entertaining pre-season contest ends in a stalemate at Stamford Bridge after Spurs fought back from 2-0 down. While Tottenham did improve in the second period, it wasn’t until a flurry of Chelsea changes that the visitors really got going. Then, goals from Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn cancelled out Hakim Ziyech’s double, and the visitors may have even gone on to win it.

Lucas Moura storms forward from the left and finds Steven Bergwijn on the right via Son Heung-min. The Dutchman faces up to Trevor Chalobah before pushing him wide and thumping a shot through Edouard Mendy.
