Barcelona youngster Francisco Trincao treats himself to £240k Lamborghini Huracan after scoring winner vs Real Betis

BARCELONA wonderkid Francisco Trincao has celebrated scoring the winner against Real Betis at the weekend by splashing out £240,000 on a new car.

The 21-year-old former Braga star is now the proud owner of a Lamborghini Huracan and shared the special moment on Instagram.

The £28m January 2020 signing has struggled since joining Barca with just one goal in 17 LaLiga appearances off the bench.

But that came in dramatic circumstances when he secured Ronald Koeman’s side the points with an 87th-minute winner.

So the six-cap Portugal international took a trip to JM Automocion to splash some cash.

The garage also posted the handover on their Instagram account, writing: “Very special delivery of the spectacular Lamborghini Huracan EVO to the FCB player @trincao.

“Enjoy it and thank you very much for your trust!”

Trincao actually agreed his move to Barca in January last year, but the Spanish giants allowed him to stay at Braga until the end of the season.

Leicester reportedly made an audacious offer to bring the forward to the King Power Stadium last summer.

According to the Guardian, the Foxes submitted a two-year loan offer for the player, with an obligation to buy him for £45million.

But despite Barca’s financial woes in the wake of the coronavirus crisis, they turned down the offer.

It is understood his Barcelona contract includes a whopping £420m release clause after Paris Saint-Germain stunned the world by meeting Neymar’s at the time unthinkable exit payment in 2017.

Wolves had been sniffing around Trincao last year with Nuno Espirito Santo a long-standing admirer of the whizkid.
