BARCELONA are set to make three or four more signings this summer, according to President Joan Laporta.
Memphis Depay became the fourth summer signing on Saturday, joining Sergio Aguero, Emerson and Eric Garcia in arriving at the Nou Camp.
But the recruitment team will not rest, having also missed out on Georginio Wijnaldum, who opted to join PSG.
As quoted by Mundo Deportivo, Laporta provided an update on Barcelona’s transfer business.
He said: “Signings will be three or four more.
“We are going to make a very competitive team.
“We are already seeing it with the additions of Eric Garcia, Aguero and Emerson and other players who are about to [join].”
The Spanish giants have been linked with a move for Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez as well as Erling Haaland.
Also, Pep Guardiola is said to have offered seven players to his former side.
One of those names could be Aymeric Laporte, as Guardiola is reportedly willing to let the defender leave after Ruben Dias took his place in the starting line up last season.

Raheem Sterling, Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva have also been offered to Laporta by the Citizens boss.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are hoping to announce Lionel Messi’s new contract on his 34th birthday, on June 24.
It promises to be a busy period for the Catalans as they seek to build their first title-winning squad since the 2018/19 season.
