ARSENAL starlet Folarin Balogun’s brother has slammed Mikel Arteta’s tactics.
And he has claimed the Gunners have a ‘striker problem’ due to their style of play.
The pressure was mounting on Arteta ahead of the weekend’s clash with Norwich following their winless start to the campaign.
But a solitary goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was enough to down the Canaries at the Emirates and seal the three points.
Balogun, 20, started the opening day defeat at Brentford and then came off the bench in the home loss to Chelsea.
He has not appeared since – and now his brother has not helped his case for more action by claiming Arteta’s system ‘just doesn’t really work’ currently.
Royce Balogun told @whatthefootie: “You can’t blame just the player, it’s the system.
“If you look at that striker problem in terms of chances created, it’s not just Folarin.

“When Martinelli and Aubameyang were playing there, the system didn’t work.”
He added: “The system just doesn’t really work at the moment. Soon it will work and he’ll have to be ready when it does.
“You have to support him and tell him to keep going.”
Balogun did manage to provide Arteta with a reminder of his talents as Arsenal’s U23s beat their Manchester United counterparts 3-1.
The England U21 international scored twice to down the Red Devils.
