ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE could find himself used as a bargaining chip when Arsenal go for Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri in January.
Reports in Spain say the Gunners are looking to make a move for the striker in the next transfer window.
Sevilla are already understood to be interested in Lacazette and Arsenal are considering using him as part of a swap deal with the La Liga side.
They had initially been told En-Nesyri would cost up to £38.5 million but a cash-plus-player deal would bring down the asking price.
Lacazette is likely to leave the Emirates at the end of the season, with Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus all thought to be keeping tabs on the situation.
But Sevilla are eager to get the jump on their European rivals by moving for the Frenchman in winter.
The Sevillistas are looking to strengthen up front as they stand to lose both En-Nesyri and Munir to the African Cup of Nations in January.

Skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract runs until 2023, by which time he will be 34.
Arsenal are likely to offer him new terms but reinforcements up front are almost certainly going to be needed as Arteta aims to restore some pride at the club.
But their attempts to bring in keeper Andre Onana from Ajax to provide competition for Ramsdale has turned complicated.
Inter Milan have joined the race for the Cameroon international and have no interest in taking the unfavoured Bernd Leno off Arsenal’s hands instead.
