EDDIE NKETIAH has reportedly been offered a new deal by Arsenal as four clubs look to prise him away from the Emirates.
The 22-year-old, who was limited to a bit-part role under Mikel Arteta during the 2020-21 campaign, has just one year left on his contract.
Nketiah featured in just three out of the last 17 Premier League games after falling out of favour in North London.
SunSport exclusively revealed in April that the Gunners are seeking a fee in the region of £20million for the England youth international.
But with the ex-Leeds loanee available on a free transfer in 2022, Arsenal are said to have offered him a new contract, though the player is yet to agree on terms.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Eddie Nketiah received a new contract proposal from Arsenal days ago. There’s still nothing agreed as of today.
“#AFC West Ham, Watford, Crystal Palace are interested.
“Bayer Leverkusen are pushing since months to sign him on a permanent deal.”
West Ham are in the market for a striker as David Moyes looks to provide competition for Michail Antonio.
Meanwhile the Hornets are looking to bring in more firepower following their automatic promotion from the Championship.

Crystal Palace are also in need of a new centre-forward, with Christian Benteke, Jordan Ayew and Michy Batshuayi scoring just 13 top-flight goals between them.
Leeds have also been rumoured with bringing Nketiah back to Elland Road.
Graham Potter’s Brighton side could step up their interest in the striker, where he could be used in a potential swap deal with midfielder Yves Bissouma.
