ARSENAL fans had to shell out £37 PER GOAL for last year’s season tickets, it has been revealed.
The cheapest season ticket on offer for Gunners fans in the 2020-21 campaign was a startling £891.
When you cross-reference that with the number of goals Mikel Arteta’s side scored, it works out as nearly £40 per home goal.
Contrast that with Manchester City whose season tickets go as low as £325, a price point which works out to around £7 a goal.
The study, which was carried out by OLGB, highlighted the ludicrously inflated charges Arsenal demand of their fans.
And it is even more remarkable when you consider they have finished eighth in the Premier League for the last two seasons.
The most expensive Prem club to watch per home goal aside from Arsenal is surprisingly Burnley.
Sean Dyche’s outfit work out as nearly £28 per goal, but that largely comes down to the fact that they averaged just 0.78 home goals per game last season.
The cheapest team to watch by this measurement is Man City, closely followed by Leicester who come in at around £10.74 per goal.
Brentford work out similarly as cheap, although they were plying their trade in the Championship last season.
Despite Arsenal’s terrible goal-to-price ratio, another London club comes off worst when the data considers a variety of different factors.

They assessed the capacity, cheapest season ticket price, cheapest matchday ticket price, the percentage of disability access seats in the ground, the price of a replica shirt, the cost of a beer/burger/programme, the number of goals per home game and the price paid per home goal scored last season.
When accounting for all of that, they found that Chelsea was the worst value for money for supporters, followed by Wolves.
At the other end, Leicester were said to be the best value for money alongside Leeds.
