FORMER Italy striker Antonio Cassano revealed he piled on 30lbs during his time at Real Madrid by binge eating Nutella.
Cassano spent two years at Los Blancos scoring just four times in 29 games before the club ran out of patience and flogged him to Sampdoria.

Off-the-pitch issues marred his time in Spain and after four months the club fined him for every gram he remained over his playing weight.
And only now has the 38-year-old revealed why he endured such a battle to keep in shape.
A sponsorship deal with Nutella meant Cassano was plied with jars of the hazelnut treat.
Speaking to Christian Vieri on Twitch, he said: “At Real Madrid I barely made it, I managed to lose about 12 kilos.
“Then Cannavaro arrived and I gained them again.
“Nutella was one of the sponsors of the club and each month they gave us five kilos of product.
“When Capello arrived I scored two goals in two games and I felt like the king of the world.
“After that he replaced me against Lyon, I argued with him in Jerez and took me out of the team.

“In seven months I gained 14 kilos. I ate Nutella directly from the bottle and I didn’t care. I was ashamed.”
Cassano previously revealed in his autobiography that he had two weaknesses in life… food and women.
While playing for Madrid he lived in a hotel where he struck up a friendly relationship with a waiter.
He wrote: “In Madrid I had a friend who was a hotel waiter.
“His job was to bring me three or four pastries after I had sex.
“He would bring the pastries up the stairs, I would escort the woman to him and we would make an exchange.
“He would take the girl and I would take the pastries. Sex and then food, a perfect night.”
