Watch Anthony Joshua’s brutal neck training method as he works out in ring ahead of Oleksandr Usyk fight

ANTHONY JOSHUA continued to prepare for his upcoming fight against Oleksandr Usyk with some savage training on his neck.

The unified heavyweight champion was set to face Tyson Fury in an all-British undisputed clash this summer before The Gypsy King was ordered to take on Deontay Wilder for a third time.

Now Joshua and Fury will have to come through their difficult match-ups if they are to meet for all four belts.

And AJ looked hard at work in the gym when posting a brutal neck training video on his Instagram story.

He captioned it: “I will live a life worthy of the long lime of warriors that have come before me 2.2.0.1 T.B.F.”

Joshua has played down the threat of WBO mandatory challenger Usyk despite the Ukrainian being undefeated and a former undisputed cruiserweight champion.

When asked about the danger Usyk possesses, the Watford-born superstar told Sky Sports: “None. I fear none of them. He don’t bring me nothing I ain’t seen before.

“I fear none of them. He don’t bring nothing I ain’t seen before. Two hands, two legs, a brain and a bit of heart.

“He’s a good fighter, I’m challenging myself in training. So yeah, let’s get it on.”

The rumoured fight date for a clash between Joshua and Usyk was originally thought to be August in London, with the venue reportedly set to be the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But now Joshua has confirmed he will wait until September, with the location still expected to be Spurs’ ground.

“I wanted to go like August but change of opponent, completely different style, the team said push it back a little bit, prepare properly,” he added.

“This is a fight I need to win because I was at the final destination on that road to undisputed but now we have a pit stop we have to make with Usyk.

“At the end of September is when I’ll be taking on the former undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world.”
