TYSON FURY has been warned his trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder is a ‘very dangerous fight’.
The reigning WBC champ, 32, will renew his rivalry with the hard-hitting American on October 9 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
Wilder has drafted in a new head coach in a bid to avenge the seventh-round TKO loss he suffered to the Brit last February.
And Fury’s cousin Andy Lee reckons the ‘motivated’ Bronze Bomber could potentially be a banana skin in the road to undisputed glory.
The former WBO middleweight champion said of the bout: “I think it’s a very dangerous fight.
“I think Wilder’s body will be fresh, so it’s a very dangerous fight.
Lee reckons Wilder be champing at the bit to prove the first loss of his professional career was a fluke.
He added: “He’s got a lot to prove. He’s going to be very motivated for this fight.”
The third instalment of Fury vs Wilder was rescheduled for October after an outbreak of Covid-19 ravaged the Gypsy King’s training camp.
Lee was part of the group but doesn’t expect his cousin to be adversely affected by his bout of the virus.
He said: “I recently had COVID when I was in America. I was with Tyson and we both got it and the fight got cancelled due to it.
“I had about three or four days of being really tired.
“But I didn’t lose my smell or taste, I had no temperature but it’s a serious, serious thing and you don’t want it.
“Especially as a sportsperson, it would make you have to pull out of a fight. Tyson had the same kind of thing as me, and I feel fine.”
Fan favourite Fury is brimming with confidence ahead of his third clash with Wilder and has vowed to run through the Olympian like an ’18-wheeler.’

Andy Lee on Tyson Fury’s trilogy fight wih Deontay Wilder
He said: “I gave my game plan away the first time because he wasn’t good enough to do anything about it.
“And I’ll do the same thing this time because he’s not good enough to do anything about it.
“Deontay Wilder is a one-trick pony. He’s got one-punch power, we all know that – great.
“But what I’m going to do to Deontay Wilder this time is I’m going to run him over as if I’m an 18-wheeler and he’s a human being.
“I guarantee he does not go past where he did before [the seventh round].
“Because before, I only had five or six weeks practicing what I’m going to do to him.

“This time, I’ve had 18 months of practicing what I’m going to do to him.
“So I anticipate it’s going to be like an 18-wheeler running over somebody, and that’s what you’re gonna see.
“I’m building my weight up, trying to get up to 300lbs for this fight. Because I’m looking for a big knockout straight away.”
