TYSON FURY’s old foe Otto Wallin has tipped him to beat Anthony Joshua in their long-awaited Battle of Britain.
The eagerly-anticipated undisputed heavyweight title fight is expected to take place in the summer with both parties working towards a June or July date.
Fan favourite Fury has been tipped by many to get the better of Joshua due to his size, fleet-footedness and ability to glide out of harm’s way.
And Wallin, who went the distance with Fury in September 2019, reckons those attributes tip the odds in The Gypsy King’s favour.
The Swede told Pro Boxing Fans: “For me, I would say Fury would be the favourite because of his size and his boxing ability.
“And, you know, I think he’s a smart guy. He’s got good momentum also [after] beating Deontay Wilder.
“He’s been out of the ring for some time now, but still I think that he’s very confident.
“He knows what he’s good at and what he can do.

“In my mind, I would think that Fury is the favourite.”
Although he believes Fury is the favourite to win the fight, Wallin is refusing to completely rule out Joshua’s chances of being victorious in the mega-money bout.
He continued: “But Joshua is very good also. This is the two best heavyweights out there and he’s gonna be dangerous.
“But I think that Fury is the favourite.”
The eagerly-anticipated announcement for the first of two fights between Joshua and Fury is set to be made in the coming days.
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, recently said: “We always had a time frame in place in the agreement that everybody signed.
“That can be extended but it’s not the intention to extend it and we are all working to that time frame.
“Really, I think by end of next week it will be done.
“We can’t wait. AJ has started his training camp and Fury has been training very hard.
“They all want the fight.
“They are going to be presented with a few proposals on where to do the fight and everyone has to agree on where to do it.
“There is no other fight out there that comes close for either guy. July is the date.
“The world tour is going well but I’m not answering any questions on that and I won’t tell you where I’ve been.”
