VASYL LOMACHENKO could get a pay-per-view rematch with Teofimo Lopez – should the pair with their next fights.
Lopez propelled himself to superstardom last October as he dethroned lightweight king Lomachenko.
It was aired of regular ESPN TV in the States, but they could be in line for a box office clash the second time around.
Legendary promoter Bob Arum told FightHype: “All of ‘em, Ali, all the legends, after losing, who isn’t interested in how they come back from it?
“Let’s find out what happens with Teofimo on June 19, then we’ll figure it out.
“I think a rematch between Loma and Teofimo on pay-per-view does a lotta business.”
Lomachenko, 33, was knocked off the pound-for-pound No1 spot after he was stunned by Lopez.
He returns next Saturday in a comeback fight against Masayoshi Nakatani, 32, in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Lopez, 23, was set to defend his WBA, IBF, WBO and WBC ‘Franchise’ belt against mandatory challenger George Kambosos, 28, tonight.
But the rising American star was forced to withdraw after testing positive for coronavirus, pushing back the fight to August 14.

He said: “I am devastated to disappoint so many people.
“I know the sacrifices we have all made to get here. I believe I am doing the right thing. I don’t want to infect anybody. Sport has power.
“I choose to use my power to be a good example.”
