Ten opponents Mike Tyson could face including Holyfield and Fury’s DAD as 54-year-old is bombarded with offers

VERY few people would be brave enough to step into the ring with Mike Tyson – even at the age 54.

The heavyweight legend has been knuckling down in the gym, and made his comeback against Roy Jones Jr last year.

Mike Tyson looks in incredible shape since making his comeback to the ring

Tyson was one of the most feared fighters on the planet before he hung up his gloves in 2005.

The American hardman is reportedly eyeing up a four-round exhibition fight to raise money for charity.

But his opponent has not yet been named – which is no surprise after he released a short clip of himself sparring.

SunSport have pulled together ten stars that have been tipped to fight the former heavyweight champ.

John Fury has claimed he is the hardest man in Britain

John, father of heavyweight champion Tyson, has declared he is prepared to die in the ring against Tyson.

The self-proclaimed hardest man in Britain, 56, called out the 54-year-old in a video that has been doing the rounds on Twitter.

He screamed: “Here I am, John Fury is hiding from no man, not even the king of old men, Mike Tyson.

“I will fight Mike Tyson. I will not be denied. I will die in a fight.”

Evander Holyfield

Boxing legend Holyfield has announced he willing to step into the ring for an exhibition fight, aged 58.

He beat rival Tyson twice during his illustrious career – which has led to speculation that a trilogy is on the cards.

Holyfield ruined his rival’s first defence of his WBC title before Tyson was disqualified in their next bout for biting a chunk off his ear.

Fans are desperate to see the two heavyweight legends lock horns for a third time.

Sonny Bill Williams has an unbeaten record in the boxing ring

Sonny Bill Williams

Tyson has been offered $1million to take on the All Blacks legend in his comeback fight.

Rugby legend Williams has won all seven of his professional fights – but has not boxed since 2015.

Tyson’s former trainer Jeff Fenech has urged the 6ft 4in rugby legend to steer clear of Tyson – unless he wants to end up in a morgue.

He said: “Let me tell you something. If he hits Sonny Bill Williams or Paul Gallen, he will be up for manslaughter.”

Paul Gallen

Promoter Brian Amatruda has also lined up rugby league legend Gallen as a possible opponent for Tyson.

Speaking to the Wide World of Sports, he revealed he would be up for the challenge.

He said: “I’m fighting Sonny Bill, Barry Hall, Mark Hunt, every NRL player wants to fight… and now Mike Tyson!

“I don’t know where I’m going to get time to do it all, but people out there should just wait until they hear from me who I’m going to fight next and that’s who I’ll be fighting.”

Barry Hall was a junior boxing champion, but struggled to impress as a professional

Barry Hall

Barry Hall is the other rugby league star has been put forward by Amatruda to fight Iron Mike Down Under.

He is a former junior boxing champion, but his professional record leaves a lot to be desired as it is 0-0-1.

Tyson, who was the heavyweight champion of the world aged 20, retired with 50 wins including 44 knockouts.

Danny Williams

Tyson has been offered a rematch by Danny Williams – 17 years after he was brutally knocked out by the Brit.

Williams, who beat the American in 2004 and is incredibly still fighting, has contacted the American’s representatives to set up a rematch.

He told World Boxing News: “I can confirm that a few of my agents have put my name up to fight ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

“We are still awaiting an answer but it’s definitely a fight I want.”

Tyson could face Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko in an incredible ‘tag-team’ match.

Shannon Briggs suggested he could team up with the former Baddest Man on the Planet for the incredible bout.

And the Klitschko brothers, or one of them alongside David Haye, could be their opponents.

Wladimir, 45, spent a decade as world champion before he was dethroned by Tyson Fury – but talk of a comeback is never far away.

David Haye

Haye, 40, has hinted he could make a spectacular comeback after overcoming the injuries the ended his career prematurely.

The Brit famously tore his Achilles tendon during the grudge match against light-heavyweight Tony Bellew.

But he has hinted he will only return to the ring to fight Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury.

He told Behind The Gloves: “The only one that I would do it for is the winner of AJ vs Tyson Fury because that would be No1 vs No1.”

Bare knuckle bout

Tyson has been offered a huge £16.2million to appear in a bare knuckle boxing fight.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship president David Feldman said he is willing to splash the cash to sign him up for a fight.

He told Heavy: “While we did make a guaranteed offer of $20million for Mike to fight for BKFC, we’re open to many different as to how we can work together.

“Obviously, the excitement of seeing Mike’s video showing himself training and desire to participate in exhibitions inspired us to reach out and make that offer.”
