Bjornsson has already moved from strongest man competitions to boxing.

He appeared to be the ideal candidate to join the wrestling promotion with his 6ft 9ins frame and Game of Thrones fame.

Tyson Fury and Floyd Mayweather are among the big names to make guest appearances for Vince McMahon.

But speaking to Logan Paul on the Impaulsive podcast, the giant said a switch to WWE is not for him, especially with the travel and time commitments taking him away from his homeland.

Paul asked: “Have you ever considered WWE or was that ever on your or their radar?”

Bjornsson replied: “Theirs. They reached out a few times.

“I thought about it but like I said before… Iceland.

“The more I started to travel the more I started to appreciate Iceland and the less I wanted to live somewhere else.

“When I was younger I was like, ‘Yeah I will move somewhere else.’

“Then I started to travel a lot, travelled around the world, and was then like, ‘No.'”

Bjornsson, who has previously sparred with Conor McGregor, is preparing for his mammoth showdown with Hall next year.

He has three exhibition boxing fights under his belt already, drawing his first two before beating Devon Larratt in September with a first-round knockout.

To get into shape for boxing, the 2018 world’s strongest man shed a whopping nine stone – and told SunSport now he is always hungry.

Bjornsson said: “There’s a few changes in the diet, not eating nearly as much, in strongman I used to eat a lot.

“It was all about eating every two to three hours, big meals, while here I’m almost always hungry and always like to eat more.

“The diet and the training are the biggest change in the two sports.”
