FRANK BRUNO has backed an ‘underestimated’ Tyson Fury to get the better of Anthony Joshua in their undisputed heavyweight title fight.
A multi-million-pound showdown between the pair is in the works for the summer, with both men currently going over site offers for the bout.
Many boxing fans have been tipping Fury to get the better of AJ ever since the announcement of their two-fight deal last June.
Former WBC heavyweight titleholder Bruno is part of that group and reckons the elusive ‘Gypsy King’ will be too much to handle for the unified champion.
Bruno, 59, told The Daily Mirror: “As for Fury versus Joshua, Fury is in front for me.
“He is a very dangerous guy because he doesn’t give a monkey’s who’s in front of him.
“He is a much better fighter than a lot of people give him credit for.
“He can move, he can punch, and he knows how to wind up his opponents with all different sorts of stuff.

“Anthony Joshua is very hungry as well but he still has a lot to learn.
“He needs a little bit more discipline and I don’t know how he lost to that guy Andy Ruiz Junior.
“I haven’t got anything against Joshua but Fury is a very underestimated guy and he’s a force to be reckoned with.”
Early on Monday morning, Joshua revealed he’d received ‘the first official offer’ to host the long-awaited Battle of Britain.
He wrote on Twitter and Instagram: “Positive news this evening! I’m lacing up my running boots rn!
“@258MGT and @Matchroomboxing have received the first OFFICIAL offer to host the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship Of The WORLD!
“I will be victorious God Willing! No place to hide now! I’M COMING!”
Matchroom Boxing chief Eddie Hearn has received offers from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Singapore, China, America, Dubai and the UK to host the blockbuster fight.
He told Sky Sports: “Joshua doesn’t talk much about fights – but he talks when it’s close.
“You can feel the excitement building.
“We are in a great place with several offers on the table. I’m quietly confident.
“It was nice to see Fury post with enthusiasm because he feels that we are close.
“The teams will get together. I will try to see Bob Arum on Tuesday. We’re nearly there. We have worked really hard and we don’t want to give in.
“We’re in a good place, nice and close. I can’t do any more than I’m doing. People know that we’re on the verge.
“Both guys are desperate to get moving. Joshua wants a date for the start of his camp. This is the sporting event of 2021.
“One lucky site will get good news next week and the whole world will stop to watch this fight.”
