DEONTAY WILDER has made an error making Malik Scott, a boxer he previously knocked out, as his lead coach.
That’s the opinion of WBA interim world super-featherweight champion Chris Colbert.
Wilder KO’d Scott in the very first round of their heavyweight scrap in 2014.
But now the Bronze Bomber has brought Scott in to lead his training ahead of the trilogy fight against Tyson.
Colbert remains confused by this move and thinks Fury will beat Wilder again.
Speaking to FightHype the 24-year-old said: “Fury is going to beat on him. He can’t f*** with Fury.
“How are you going to learn from somebody you knocked out?
“I’m trying to figure out what is he [Malik Scott] going to teach him? He [Wilder] said Malik Scott is a boxing genius.
“Why is he looking so terrible in his fights? He don’t look good in his fights. If you’re a boxing genius, you have a mindset of what you can do.
“He won’t have a mindset of what you can do. He went in there with Wilder, and Wilder hit his glove, and he dropped to the ground.

“Tyson Fury is special. I don’t think anybody f**** with him.”
Fury says he will ‘run Wilder over like a freight train’ and says he will come in for Part III at a career heaviest 21st 6lb.
And Colbert wouldn’t be surprised to see this happen.
He added: “Whatever he [Fury] says, he does it.
“You’ve got to listen to him. He told you he was going to stop Wilder. He beat his a**. “
Colbert also slammed the ‘excuses’ Wilder made for his February 2020 loss to Fury as ‘terrible’.
The deposed WBC heavyweight champ first blamed a heavy ringwalk suit, then accused his own coach Mark Breland of ‘spiking his water’ before finally accusing Fury and his team of ‘glove tampering’.
Breland and Team Fury have strenuously denied the claims.
