DANIEL DUBOIS returns to the ring this weekend when he takes on Bogdan Dinu in a heavyweight tussle.

The 23-year-old hasn’t been in the ring since November, when he lost via 10th-round TKO to heavyweight rival Joe Joyce in London.

Since then, Dubois has changed trainers to Shane McGuigan and will be looking to revive his career in boxing’s blue-riband division.

When is Dubois vs Dinu?

  • Dubois’ heavyweight clash with Dinu takes place this weekend on Saturday, June 5.
  • The main event should begin at around 10.30pm UK time.
  • The fight will take place at the Telford International Centre in Shropshire.
  • There will be around 1,000 fans in attendance at the clash.

What has Dubois said?

“I am excited to be back in the ring,” said Dubois.

“This is my chance to remind people of what I am really about, which is winning fights in a devastating fashion.

“I don’t need to make any excuses for the Joe fight because everybody could see the issue with my vision, but Joe won fair and square and we move on.

“Time is on my side but I don’t intend to slow down my progress and I am more than happy to be returning to the ring in a big title fight that puts me right back in the picture.”
