FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour events in Gstaad and Espinho cancelled

All changes to the beach volleyball event calendar have been adopted following consistent monitoring of the global situation, and in full cooperation with the international and national health and sports authorities, including the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

In addition, in light of the postponement of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, the FIVB is working with the IOC concerning the adaptation of the beach volleyball qualification system. Any changes will be communicated to the stakeholders at a later stage. The Beach Volleyball Ranking is currently frozen as of 16 March 2020 until further notice.

The FIVB extends its deepest sympathies and stands in solidarity with the entire beach volleyball community during these challenging times.
