First and fifteenth titles celebrated in Serbian Cup Finals

 
The players of Vojvodina NS Seme and Ub celebrate victories in the Serbian Cup Finals.
 

Ub, Serbia, March 4, 2020 – The women’s volleyball club of Ub claimed a historic success this weekend by triumphing in the final of the 54th edition of the Serbian Cup. In front of a packed hall, the local team defeated Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova 3-2 (25-15, 24-26, 25-13, 21-25, 15-9) in 126 minutes to claim their first victory in the competition. Vojvodina NS Seme from Novi Sad won the 55th edition of the men’s Serbian Cup by defeating Partizan from Belgrade 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-23) in 125 minutes. They secured a record-breaking 15th title in the competition.

Aleksandra Gligoric of Ub and Aleksandar Blagojevic of Vojvodina NS Seme (pictured below) were named the MVPs of the Finals.
