Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘will quit AC Milan to become a manager’ after ex-Man Utd ace left fuming at Boban axe


ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC will reportedly QUIT AC Milan at the end of the season and turn to management.

But according to Sportmediaset, the 38-year-old has become disillusioned with life already at the San Siro.

Ibrahimovic has been left angry at the sacking of chief football officer Zvonimir Boban – the former Croatian international being instrumental in bringing the Swede back to the club.

It is now being reported that Ibra willl chose against staying on until the end of the 2021 season, and instead look to become a football manager.

AC Milan snapped him up for a second stint at the San Siro giants – having previously been at the club between 2010 and 2012.

SEASON OF STRUGGLE FOR AC

He scored 56 goals in 85 matches and won Serie A in 2011 with the Italian giants.

But it’s been a rocky road for the Rossoneri this campaign.

The club are already on their third manager in the last 12 months, sitting 11th in Serie A a staggering 27 points behind rivals Juventus at the top of the table.

Ibra has scored three goals in seven starts in Serie A so far this season.

After signing the maverick Swede in January, current boss Stefano Pioli was thrilled to be working with the veteran superstar.

The gaffer said at the time: “Ibra is a warrior, a leader, a charismatic player who has a great sense of responsibility and a great desire to win.

“He’ll stimulate the whole team, his contribution will be crucial.”
