And fans could not figure out why everyone else bar Traore was wearing a shirt which did feature the sponsor’s logo.

Some speculated muscle-bound Traore could not fit in a regular jersey.

But that was dismissed as incorrect as he has played numerous matches wearing a shirt bearing the sponsor’s name this season.

It is certainly a baffling puzzle for fans to solve, although the team’s performance at Vicarage Road is sure to be more concerning to manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

One supporter tweeted: “Great Watford performance. What I need to know is why Traore wore a shirt with no sponsor on.”

Another said: “Why doesn’t Traore’s shirt have a sponsor? Is he wearing a kid’s kit or something, the shorts look too small as well.”

One added: “Maybe Traore’s shirt is custom made to allow for the muscles.”

Whatever the reason, Traore is certainly playing very well this season, bagging five goals and seven assists so far.

It’s believed the former Barcelona youngster is now being lined up for a big-money move to Real Madrid.

And Traore admits he would be tempted to make the move to the Bernabeu.

He said: “If I do not have the option of Barca and I have to go to Real Madrid, I do not close any doors.

“Yes, why not [return to Spain?] But I made a promise to become one of the best in England.”
