THAT’S ALL
Never change, Leeds. A joy to watch when in full flow.
For Sam, could this be a job too far in trying to keep a team in the division?
Time will tell.
Goodnight!
RE-LIVE IT ALL
Take in tonight’s action again with our match report HERE
BIG SAM SURPRISED
Sam Allardyce says the consistency his side is showing is worrying after tonight’s heavy defeat.
Big Sam made the comparison between the side that deservedly got a draw at Anfield to the same XI getting thumped 5-0 at home tonight.
He told Prime Video Sport: “Things can happen like that {the own goal] and they can be unexpected but when they do happen, you’ve got to pick yourself up and fight.
“We have seen a performance at Liverpool where the players have played at their best and then tonight when we try and attack we can’t do the defending right.
“Leeds overrun us today and deservedly beat us 5-0.
“I was shocked to see such a poor performance from the players.
“We must work as hard as we can to try and get that right.
“Consistency is everything now but we can’t seem to get a consistency now between the attacking and the defending.
“We were terrible in defending today and we need to try and get the players recovered.”

BIELSA SPEAKS
Marcelo Bielsa praised his side’s efficiency in front of goal but encouraged his players to show it over a longer period of time.
He told Prime Video: “It was a game where we defended well and were efficient up front.
“From eight chances we scored five and this helped the result.
“We played a serious game throughout in a conscience manner.
“We managed the ball well apart from a few actions in the second-half.
“We must continue to do the same and do it over a longer period of time.
“We have had a lot of highs and lows and the idea is to play in a consistent manner over a longer period of games.”
ALIOSKI DELIGHT
Ezgjan Alioski said this result was coming one day given how Leeds play.He told Amazon Prime Video Sport: “The philosophy from the coach, we are physically strong and can play good football.
“If it works on the pitch, it can happen like today.
“The three points were really important and we are really happy.”
HOW WE STAND
Arsenal beat Brighton 1-0, Burnley beat Sheffield United by the same score and it was goalless between Southampton and West Ham.
This is what they scores have done to the Premier League table.
Leeds two goals shy of the top half of the table.
Truthfully, they could have got that tonight.
FT: WEST BROM 0-5 LEEDS
A five-star showing from Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
Both these teams only played on Sunday and while West Brom looked out on their feet, Leeds played their usual game.
First-half goals from Alioski, Harrison and Rodrigo added to Sawyers’ own goal.
Raphinha added to the scoring the second-half.
Leeds record another clean sheet and show their killer instincts going forward.
Sam Johnstone had no chance with any of the five.
Big Sam looked to have West Brom on track with that point at Anfield 48 hours ago but they’ve now came back crashing down.
