Watch Vidal look close to vomiting as Barca ace leans over hoardings as Bayern stars celebrate one of their eight goals

THIS is the moment Arturo Vidal looked close to VOMITING during Barcelona’s embarrassing defeat by Bayern Munich.

The Spanish giants were trounced 8-2 during a one-sided contest in last night’s Champions League quarter final.

Former Bayern star Vidal, 33, started at the tip of a midfield diamond but made little impact as the Germans ran wild.

Thomas Muller and Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho both scored twice, with other goals coming from Ivan Perisic, Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski.

After the Poland star scored Bayern’s sixth in the 82nd minute, Vidal was filmed standing over a hoarding behind the Barca goal looking miserable.

He then leant over and at one stage looked like he was about to throw up as he gulped down breaths of air.

The defeat has seen Barcelona left in disarray, with boss Quique Setien seemingly sacked after the final whistle.

Ex-Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is the early favourite to take charge at the Nou Camp.

But he could be without Lionel Messi, who apparently wants out.

Gerard Pique has also offered to quit his boyhood club.

However, Vidal will be feeling particularly sheepish after giving a pre-match interview dismissing Bayern’s qualities and calling Barcelona the best team in world football.

Vidal boasted: “They have a lot of confidence but they are not playing a Bundesliga team on a Friday, they’re up against Barcelona – the best team in the world.

“If we connect we can beat anyone. That is why I say we are the best and we have to show it against Bayern.”
