SCOTT MCTOMINAY became the first player in Premier League history to score twice in the first three minutes of a match.
The Scottish midfielder delivered two brutal blows to Leeds’ hopes of getting a result at Old Trafford with two terrific finishes.
His first came just after a minute when Bruno Fernandes laid it into his path.
McTominay smashed it first time into the corner leaving the Leeds keeper with no chance.
And his second left Marcelo Bielsa stunned when his darting run was picked out by Anthony Martial with 2:50 on the clock.
It was McTominay’s first and second league goals of the season before Fernandes added a third after just 20 minutes.
McTominay’s flying start out of the blocks even had Gary Neville jokingly compare him to legends Roy Keane and Paul Scholes.
The Sky Sports commentator said: “Scott McTominay’s turned into Paul Scholes and Roy Keane in the first two minutes!”

Another fan added: “Tell Zidane to come outside, McTominay is here.”
A third said: “When did Scott McTominay turn into Kaka?”
And another supporter wrote: “Imagine waiting 16 years to get back to the Prem, face your historic rivals and get put to bed by Scott McTominay within 3 minutes.”
