Watch Cristiano Ronaldo score long-range screamer as Juventus beat Genoa 3-1 with Dybala and Costa also on scoresheet

CRISTIANO RONALDO racked up yet another world-class long-range strike on Tuesday as Juventus beat Genoa 3-1.

With his side a goal to the good early on in the second-half, the Portuguese forward strolled forward and took aim from 30 yards out.

The defenders could hardly be blamed for backing off the 35-year-old but he showed he could punish them from any distance with a thunderous effort.

Coming in between goals from Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa, the Old Lady reinstilled their four-point title race advantage with the victory.

After Lazio came from behind at Torino earlier on Tuesday evening, the race for the Scudetto remains hot with nine games to play.

Juventus’ victory was a clear warning shot to their rivals that they can win ruthlessly – and with style.

Dybala danced through the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on 50 minutes to put Maurizio Sarri’s side ahead before Ronaldo’s rocket moments later.

It was his 19th strike in 14 Serie A appearances since he went goalless for the month of November, which heralded talk of a poor relationship between the player and his coach.

Any such worries, again amplified by Juve’s Coppa Italia final defeat to Napoli earlier this month, are being put to bed in the league.

The Bianconeri now have three wins from three since the restart, at an aggregate score of 9-1.

A second-half rally at Genoa was then rounded off by Costa bending a sweet effort into the top corner before Andrea Pinamonti’s consolation.

Juventus face a local derby with Torino on the weekend ahead of tough tests against AC Milan and Atalanta.
