Watch Chelsea transfer target Kai Havertz dance past Inter as he scores in probably his final Bayer Leverkusen game

KAI HAVERTZ might have scored his last ever goal for Bayer Leverkusen.

But if that is the case, it is an impressive strike to go out on.

The 21-year-old is rumoured to be on his way to Chelsea in a £90million deal.

The two clubs still have some negotiating to do to agree on a fee and how it will be paid, but a transfer appears likely.

In last night’s Europa League quarter-final against Inter Milan, Havertz showed just some of the skills Blues fans can look forward to seeing in the Premier League.

Havertz danced around two Inter defenders on the edge of the area, before playing a nice one-two with Kevin Volland and firing past keeper Samir Handanovic.

That gave his side hope of a comeback after going 2-0 down early on, but they couldn’t peg Inter back and exited the Europa League.

Now with Leverkusen’s season over, Chelsea will hope to get the deal for the star man over the line.

And if they do, it will leave Blues fans delirious at the thought of seeing Havertz link up with fellow new signings Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech up top.

But another club may have entered the race – his old side, Dutch minnows Heracles Almao.

Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz was quizzed on Havertz’s future after the game, to which he joked: “I can exclusively announce he’ll play for Heracles Almelo.”

The Eredivisie outfit even posted a tongue-in-cheek “Welcome Kai” tweet on social media in the definition of wishful thinking.
