ENGLAND legend Chris Waddle showed he had lost none of his magic touch with a goalscoring performance during a veterans’ game.
The 59-year-old, who was once the third most expensive player in the world, rolled back the years with an audacious 35-yard lob in a 2-2 draw.

The former Tottenham midfielder, who became a household name after skying a penalty in the 1990 World Cup semi-final against Germany, turned out for Long Bennington Veterans FC in the East Midlands Veterans League against Bottesford FC.
The two sides were competing for the Olivia Hinton Trophy, with ex-England international Waddle proving to be the highlight of the match.
A video of Magic Chris, who now works a pundit, collecting the ball in midfield before pinging a stunning chipped effort has since gone viral on social media, with fans fawning over the former hero.
One joked: “Great goal but imagine how much better it would’ve looked if he still had that remarkable rear hair… #legend.”
Another said: “Never lost it. You’re in for (Sheffield) Wednesday against (Manchester) City this week. Don’t be late.”
A third added: “Class is permanent.”
But one more tweeted: “Shame he didn’t take his peno from 30 yards during Italia 90.”
Waddle, who made a name for himself at Newcastle before a move to Spurs, officially retired in 1999 but has continued to be a household name after a brief stint as a manager.
The legendary midfielder was once the third most expensive player in the world after transferring to Marseille for £4.25 million ten years prior.
Chris earned 62 caps for England between 1985 and 1991, which included being part of the teams which reached the quarter-finals of the 1986 World Cup as well as the semi-finals of the 1990 World Cup.
