TOTTENHAM chiefs are reportedly phoning Max Aarons’ representatives “every day” as they seek to lure the right-back away from Norwich City this month.
The 20-year-old is an integral figure at Carrow Road, playing the full 90 minutes in 20 of Daniel Farke’s side’s 22 Premier League matches this season.

Right-back has been a problem position at Spurs for a while, with many fans unhappy with Serge Aurier, and Jose Mourinho seemingly unimpressed by Kyle Walker-Peters.
And with Walker-Peters reportedly on his way out of Spurs, with Crystal Palace and Southampton circling, Mourinho is keen to recruit a new player to fill the position.
And according to Football Insider, a club representative of the North Londoners has been contacting the 20-year-old’s camp every single day this month in an attempt to convince him to join.
Aarons is not only a Premier League regular, but has also broken into the England Under-21s side this season.
Spurs believe that the youngster’s pace and dynamism can give them an extra dimension going forward – although he has failed to register a single goal or assist this season.
The Lilywhites looked set to launch a move earlier this month – but the £15million bid mooted appeared derisory to the Canaries, who reportedly want closer to £50million.
And given the relegation trouble that Norwich are in, they are very reluctant to let one of their brightest young players go.
Farke said on the matter this week: “No potential, and I wouldn’t spend too much energy listening to all these rumours.
“Max is a young guy and he still has four-and-a-half years of his contract left. I think it’s not the right time for him to even think about a move.
“I would also be doubtful when too many clubs are linked with him. He is totally at the right place here, he’s played nearly 20 Premier League games, now leave him alone and let him play some football.”
Spurs have also seen their hopes of signing young West Brom defender Nathan Ferguson dashed this month – but did manage to bolster their squad this week by recruiting midfielder Gedson Fernandes.
