ERIC DIER has demanded Spurs double his £60,000-a-week pay packet if they want to keep him, according to reports.
The England defender is ready to hold showdown talks with Tottenham chiefs as he approaches the final year of his contract.

Dier, 26, wants to stay at the club having forged a working relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho is also keen on Dier staying, having become an important figure in the Portuguese’s plans moving forward.
But the Daily Mail report how Dier has stunned Spurs chief Daniel Levy by asking for a new pay packet in the region of £120,000-a-week.
The player believes his new salary would bring him in line alongside his Spurs team-mates.
Levy has always employed a strict wage structure which was smashed when Harry Kane agreed a £200,000-a-week deal in 2018.
It was also revealed how Tottenham’s wage bill is £120million less than Manchester City’s.
Levy is likely to drive a hard bargain with Dier, particularly since the player was linked with a move away after losing his place in the side under ex-boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Earlier this month Mourinho emphasised his desire for all parties to reach an agreement.
He said: “My boss Mr Levy tells me that he wants Eric to sign a new contract and Eric tells me that he is more than happy here.
“He is more than happy with his situation, especially now where he feels that we have a certain idea for him and for the team.
“And he tells me that he wants very much to stay, so I hope they can find an agreement because I try to take the team in a certain direction and when I try to develop a player in the team, it’s because I am waiting for the player to stay with us.”
Dier is currently serving a four-match ban and was forced to pay a £40,000 fine for climbing into the stands to confront a fan who had hurled abuse at him and his family after the FA Cup shootout defeat to Norwich on March 4.
