TOTTENHAM have launched a last-gasp swoop for Gabriel Magalhaes despite Napoli having agreed to a £20million deal for the centre-back.
The Serie A side are believed to have an agreement in principle in place with Lille to sign the young defender this summer.

Spurs are said to have launched a late bid for Lille star Gabriel Magalhaes, despite his rumoured deal with Napoli
Despite that, Jose Mourinho – desperate to bolster his defensive ranks – is claimed to have launched an audacious 11th-hour bid to bring him to North London.
Tottenham have been linked with Magalhaes, 22, for months – along with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Everton.
Earlier this months, reports in France claimed Magalhaes had agreed to a five-year deal worth £35,000 a week at Napoli.
Mourinho is said to view the 22-year-old as a like-for-like replacement for Jan Vertonghen.
The Belgian veteran, 33, is out of contract at Spurs this summer, with Magalhaes comfortable on the left-side of a central defensive partnership.
The Lille star joined the Ligue 1 club from Avai in his native Brazil in 2017.
Magalhaes broke into the team midway through the 2018-19 season and has remained a regular ever-since.
Lille finished fourth in the shortened 2019-20 season, with the campaign cut short due to coronavirus.
